Live blog: Thousand Oaks takes its first lead over Saugus

November 28, 2008 |  8:33 pm

Just when it looked like the play was stopped, fullback Ricky Minyard burst out of the pack, broke to the sideline and raced 66 yards for a touchdown to give Thousand Oaks a 21-14 lead over host Saugus 40 seconds into the second half of tonight's Southern Section Northern Division quarterfinal at College of the Canyons.

Back-to-back first down runs by Desi Rodriguez and Ryan Zirbel have Saugus on the move again inside the Lancers' 40-yard line.
