Football: Which league should Oaks Christian be moved to?

For years, Oaks Christian Coach Bill Redell and athletic director Jan Hethcock have said they don’t want to play in the Tri-Valley League anymore. Unfortunately, nobody in the Marmonte, Mission or Serra leagues is putting out the welcome mat for the soon-to-be six-time Southern Section division champs (those are fighting words aren’t they, Gardena Serra?).

In fact, the Marmonte League has taken preemptive action to make sure the expanding Westlake Village private school doesn’t crash its eight-team, Conejo Valley party.

But what do you think? Should the Southern Section cram Oaks Christian into the Marmonte League or would it be better if the private-school dominated Mission or Serra leagues were forced to shelter this powerhouse?
