Girls' basketball: Chatsworth standout picks Cal

Gennifer Brandon , a 6-foot-3 center from Chatsworth who's considered the top girls' basketball player in the City Section, has committed to California, according to Coach Michelle Chevalier.

Brandon, who averaged 13 points and 13 rebounds as a junior, also considered UCLA, USC, Texas and Arizona State.
