Football: Orange Lutheran wins, 34-21

October 24, 2008 | 10:04 pm

The Orange Lutheran of old returned on Friday, with the Lancers knocking off unbeaten St. John Bosco, 34-21.

The Lancers' defense refused to allow St. John Bosco quarterback Keith Price to get loose on scrambles. Price was intercepted by Gabe Lemon and Terrence Brown and finished with 188 yards passing.

Lutheran took charge in the fourth quarter behind a punishing ground game. It appears this team has finally recovered from blowing a 24-0 lead to Bishop Amat in the second game of the season to become the Trinity League title favorite.
