Football: UCLA offers scholarships to Loyola's Barr and Young

Loyola junior RB Anthony Barr and junior TE John Young have received offers from UCLA, according to Cubs Coach Jeff Kearin.

Barr, who has already received an offer from Notre Dame, is coming off a strong sophomore season and is considered one of the top RBs in the Southland. Young will also play a key role in Loyola's quest to challenge Crespi and Notre Dame for the Serra League title.

Loyola's season kicks off tonight at Mira Costa at 7 p.m.
