What's baffling to me is why no one has picked up the Saint Bonaventure vs Long Beach Poly game. Talk about what could be an epic match up.

Ray,

That's a really good point. Nothing against Diamond Ranch and Bishop Amat, but the St. Bonny-Poly game could have huge bowl game implications.

Austin,

What is up with this schedule? Prime Ticket has a golden opportunity to boradcast the Number ONe High SWChool Rivalry in the nation on Nov. 14 and they go with two private schools? Really? O Luthernan and Mater Duh?

Geez, you wonder if they're afraid to come to East Los Angeles and show "Real Football" to the masses

The St. Boni-Poly game was on the original schedule. Poly has a history of not wanting games televised (to protect the attendance).

As to the ELA Classic, Fox has a contract with the Southern Section, not the LA City Section (thus the Birmingham game at Crespi). In addition, Fox will want a 20 minute halftime. My previous working a ELA Classic, halftime was 45 minutes because it is homecoming for both schools. It is a great game for attending personally, but would both schools want to cut back on the festivities to accomodate television?
