Football: Who's the best quarterback in the Southland?

August 25, 2008 |  2:13 pm

If you're a hard-core Varsity Times Insider page clicker, then you're probably aware of Eric Sondheimer's take on the top 10 quarterbacks in the Southland.

Of course, this list is debatable (come on, Eric -- no love for Crespi's Bryan Bennett?) and I'm sure there are plenty of folks out who are itching to voice their opinions on the matter.

Feel free to vote for who you think is the best and, if you decide to choose "other," don't leave us in the dark -- type the kid's name on the comment board.

It's been a long time since Eric "liked" a Crespi QB without the last name of Redell. Besides, why does the Southern Section with lots more quality teams get the same Top 5 as the City Section with a whole bunch less schools? Maybe a LAUSD grad can 'splain to this grad of a Valley high school south of The Blvd in Encino.

Jack

oops, you forgot to add the best City Quarterback, San Fernando's Rashaad Reynolds

John Lanier

The Best QB is Jesse Scroggins
Lakewood HS He is a JR The kid is the "TRUTH"

Hi Greg!

Greg - Bryan Bennett doesn't deserve to be on that list yet...at least if we're talking this year's numbers....he's looked pretty crappy and average thus far.

kelsey

exactly...where Rashaad Reynolds at?? He be killing!!
