The movement of quarterbacks continues with senior Tommy Edwards of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame becoming the fourth QB from the San Fernando Valley to switch schools this summer.

He has landed at Van Nuys Grant, where he has applied for a hardship waiver from the City Section. It will be up to Commissioner Barbara Fiege to decide whether to grant it. If not, he’ll be forced to change residences to gain eligibility.

Edwards started Notre Dame’s Pac-5 playoff opener last season in place of the injured Dayne Crist. He was beaten out for the starting QB spot this summer by Ryan Kasdorf.
