Basketball: Bishop Montgomery’s Cobbs is interested in Cal

Justin Cobbs is being recruited by numerous colleges from all across the country, and if I’m one of those interested programs, someone other than Cal, I’d be worried right about now. Worried because the Golden Bears are high on his wish list and the senior-to-be from Bishop Montgomery is planning to visit Berkeley on Thursday.

Schools such as Kansas State and West Virginia have been in contact with Cobbs recently. San Diego State, Santa Clara, Washington State and USC have scholarships pending, and each can take consolation in the fact that Cal hasn’t offered one as yet. It will be interesting to see if things change once Cobb returns from his trip north.
