Not sure if anyone has noticed, but Kevin Cummings has had some impressive workouts this Spring. So impressive, in fact, that the once little-known junior from Crespi caught the attention of several big-time Division I programs over the last month, or so.

Seemingly every Pac-10 Conference school, with the exception of USC, has expressed interest in Cummings. Louisiana State, Michigan and Ohio State are among the others that have been in contact with the 6-foot-1 receiver, along with Connecticut, New Mexico and Purdue.

There’s no rush to make a decision any time soon though. Plans are in the works for visits to Arizona, Washington and UCLA first. Beyond that, who knows. One thing is certain: Cummings has emerged as one of the underclassmen to watch from here on out.
