A couple of days ago, Torrance (17-9, 6-2) beat defending Pioneer League champion North Torrance to win its first league title in 20 years.

Here’s what Torrance’s Kory Watkins told the Daily Breeze: ‘It’s a crazy feeling being part of this. Being on the team that got the first league title for Torrance is just crazy.’

Crazy, indeed. Especially after 20 years.
