Track and field: Muir's Cooper sees the finish line first

I love using the word bespectacled. So get ready, here it comes.

The bespectacled Lindsay Cooper, a Muir junior, had her competition squinting at her back as she won the girls' 100 meters in 12.13 seconds at the Southern Section-Toyota Division III preliminaries at Warren.

Still, Cooper left the track shaking her head, saying: "I wanted to go 11.8."

That's what we call a perfectionist.
