Softball: Orange County all-star game is Wednesday
The 2008 Orange County Coaches All Star Softball Classic will be played Wednesday, June 4, at Barber Park in Irvine. Pregame ceremonies start at 6:45 p.m. with the nine-inning contest to follow.
The "American" team is drawn from the Academy, Freeway, Orange, Pacific Coast, Sea View, South Coast and Trinity Leagues, while the "National" team will comprises players from the Century, Empire, Garden Grove, Golden West and Sunset Leagues
Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $2 for high school students, $1 for youth and high school students with school ID. Youth wearing their youth team uniform and accompanied by a paying adult will be admitted free of charge.
