Softball: La Reina takes early lead in Division III wild-card game

The Southern Section-Toyota Division III wild-card game between Burbank Burroughs and Thousand Oaks got started about 20 minutes early Wednesday afternoon, but luckily for me, I planned ahead, arriving just in time to sit down and catch the first pitch.

Good thing I wasn't late because there was plenty of action in the first inning. La Reina batted around, scoring four times in the bottom of the inning as Sarah Fox and Taylor Yamek both had two-RBI hits. The Regents lead, 4-0, heading into the second.
