Boys' volleyball: El Camino Real takes early lead

Ninth-seeded El Camino Real has won the first game of its City Section Championship Division semifinal with host Sylmar.

Despite trailing nearly the entire time, El Camino Real took advantage of some timely hitting from Scott Wolfson and Mikel Du Boise, to win, 26-24. Fourth-seeded Sylmar led, 24-23, but a spike into the net coupled with net contact handed the first game to the Conquistadores.

I'm expecting the Spartans to take the next game, but they need to play consistently for the entire match if they're going to get back in it.
