With teammates lining the fence to cheer him on, Chris Lord applied the finishing touch to Brentwood’s 10-8 victory over Beverly Hills in the Southern Section-Toyota Division III final at The Claremont Club. The Eagles had already clinched on games before Lord upset Beverly Hills’ top player Daniel Ho, 7-5, to make Brentwood’s margin more decisive.

Walker Kehrer keyed Brentwood’s triumph by losing only one game in three singles sets. Jackson Isaacs and Danny Sharon swept, 6-4, 6-0, 6-4, at No. 1 doubles for the top-seeded Eagles (18-6), who defeated Beverly Hills by the same score during the regular season.
