Baseball: Narbonne and Cleveland meet yet again

Flash back to early April...

Cleveland won a heart-thumper against Narbonne. The Cavaliers scored once in the fifth inning, then again in the seventh to snag a 2-1 comeback victory on the Gauchos' home turf. Here we go again, these two foes will meet in the City Section Championship Division semifinals today at 3 p.m at Narbonne.

Predictions? Gosh, my crystal ball needs a good Windexing. Wait, I see something...

Narbonne's Juan Avila will lace at least one double today. The kid is a double machine with 22 this season. He also has six dingers and a .490 average and is a HUGE reason why the No. 2-seeded Gauchos (26-6) are sizzling hotter than Philly scrapple of late with eight consecutive wins. Not that Cleveland is lukewarm -- the No. 6 Cavs (25-7-1) have won seven of eight.

Now, where's my Windex?
