Softball: Photos from and thoughts about Simi Valley's 2-1 victory

One of the reasons why I felt Thursday would be the day Thousand Oaks would finally beat Simi Valley was because I was really impressed with the team's makeshift megaphones.

TO players took used paper Gatorade cups, tore the bottoms off them, and began shouting through them. Some were even smart enough to create a hands-free Gatorade megaphone, stuffing the cup between the links of the chain fence. The last photo in this brief slideshow shows what I'm talking about:
