Rickie Fowler, the best boys' golfer to come out of the Southland since Tiger Woods, will make his PGA tour debut today at the Verizon Heritage at Hilton Head Island, S.C.
Fowler, if you remember, won two Southern Section titles and a state championship during his stay at Murrieta Valley High. He probably could have won more, but other amateur events often pre-empted his high school schedule.
Fowler, who's a freshman at Oklahoma State, is scheduled to tee off at 10:40 a.m. PST. You can follow his round here.
