Baseball: Lakewood has its own Bogart in top-billed Keener

It's been said a baseball team is a lot like a movie -- if it's going to be great, it needs a leading man.
The Lakewood Lancers, who have been playing great of late, have their Bogart or Gable in Jonathan Keener, a catcher with a .474 batting average and 27 RBIs. "He's our leader and one of the top catchers around," said Coach Spud O'Neil. "I'm very confident when he's at the plate."
Confident with Keener behind the plate, Coach? "Oh, sure, very confident."
In fact, all the Lancers (15-9, 7-0) are confident right now after winning nine in a row and soaring to the top of the Moore League. A big reason why is their leading man, Keener.
