Basketball: I rooted for the East -- now, send me to another galaxy

March 27, 2008 |  8:46 pm

Galaxy_2Man, I'm feeling like the most annoying blogger in the galaxy. First, I had my dorky baseball blog today; now, this one...

The "Greatest Ballers are from Philly" blog; I'll make it quick. Sure, I'm a big fan of Compton's DeMar DeRozan and loved watching Campbell Hall's Jrue Holiday play, but I gotta say I cheered a smidgen when the East beat the West last night in the McDonald's All-American Game and a Philly kid shined the brightest.

Tyreke Evans, from the Philadelphia 'burb of Aston, scored 21 points and had 10 rebounds. One day, Evans may be added to the long list of great Philly hoopsters, from Wilt to Kobe to Rasheed Wallace to Jameer Nelson to Aaron McKie. Obviously, I'm from the City of Brotherly Love and always be representing the 215.

Yes, it's official, I am the galaxy's most annoying blogger.
