Baseball: El Dorado socks it to the nation’s No. 1 team

Baseball America’s top-ranked team came to Orange County looking to galvanize its position. Instead, it got slammed in the first round of the Anderson Bat National Classic when the tournament opened on Monday.

El Dorado defeated Baltimore Calvert Hall, 11-6, as Mat Thomas had three-run and two-run doubles.
