Gahr's guard quick as quicksilver

A flash, a blink, a burst -- and quicksilver Raynal Johnson is gone, hitting hyperspeed somewhere on the floor.
"Amazingly fast," said Al Dorogusker, the coach of the Gahr girls' basketball team.
Fast and good. For the fifth time this season, Johnson at least 30 points with 33 Friday night in a 76-53 San Gabriel Valley League win for Gahr (12-12, 5-3) over Warren.
Johnson -- averaging about 22 points a game -- is also one of the top hurdlers in the state. That's what makes her so quick on the court. "I haven't seen a better guard than her," Dorogusker said. "She's absoultely deceptive."
Yes, so deceptive, so fast, it's hard to stop her.
