Football: Neuheisel sighting at Loyola

There was a Rick Neuheisel sighting earlier this week at Loyola High.

The new UCLA coach was getting a school tour. He has three sons, all of whom are quarterbacks, and finding a high school for his oldest is a priority.

If any Neuheisels end up at Loyola, football Coach Jeff Kearin, who once coached at USC, might change his allegiance, right?

‘I don’t think so,’ Athletic Director Chris O’Donnell said. ‘I went to UCLA, and he lets me hear it every day.’

The son of USC assistant coach Nick Holt will be on Loyola’s varsity this season.
