Poly's got the look on the first drive, but stalls
On the first drive of the game, Poly's Melvin Richardson, pictured carrying the ball in an earlier game, looks like he's a step away from breaking a long one. But then Poly got cute and tried to run a reverse to WR Randall Cox, and Blake Ayles threw him for an 11-yard loss.
Good thing, too. It's fourth and four from their 42, the drive having stalled like a Ford Fiesta. Poly's punting.
My guess is that Richardson breaks one before the night's over, but Lutheran desperately needs to prevent the big plays by the quicker Jackrabbits.
