Milton eclipses 2,000-yard plateau in Birmingham win
Birmingham RB Milton Knox expressed a sense of relief that TD No. 100 was over and done with after the top-seeded Patriots' 42-6 semifinal victory over fourth-seeded Crenshaw on Friday night.
"I'm glad to get it over with," Knox said. "I didn't want to worry about that going into the Coliseum."
Knox had another stellar game on Friday, rushing for 186 yards and four TDs, enough to push him over the 2,000-yard mark for the season.
"Milton had a great game and I'm glad he got to 100," Birmingham Coach Ed Croson said. "That was the great thing about tonight."
