Montclair Prep names baseball coach

Rick Weber has been named baseball coach at Montclair Prep.

Weber, 44, has previously coached at Birmingham for 13 years and Pacific Hills (formerly Bel Air Prep) for nine.

Weber’s son, Kyle, is in the seventh grade at Montclair Prep, which is in its 51st year as the oldest non-denominational sixth-through-12th grade institution in the San Fernando Valley.

Weber is a graduate of L.A. Grant High and Cal State Northridge.
