First it was St. Bonaventure RB Darrell Scott. Now three more San Fernando Valley/North region players, this time from Notre Dame, have been chosen to represent the West team at the 2008 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Once again, the press release we got was vague, saying only that “three players” from Notre Dame would officially be named during a press conference at the high school on Thursday.

I’m no fortune teller, but based on their performances this season, I’m going to guess those three are QB Dayne Crist (committed to Notre Dame University), DL Wes Horton (USC) and LB Anthony McDonald ( Notre Dame).

Of course, I could be wrong, so don’t be afraid to use the comment board to let me know what you think of my predictions.

No matter who is picked, they’ll get the chance to play at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on Jan. 8 in front of a national television audience on NBC.

(Note: We actually confirmed on Thursday that it was indeed Crist, Horton and McDonald that were chosen)

Here’s some video of Crist and McDonald in action against Birmingham:
