It’s hard to top the cuteness of a giant panda.

We’ve only seen a few animals that can even come close -- think Fennec fox kits, piglet squid and the fabled ticklish slow loris.

Those other adorable animals now have their work cut out for them, because the giant-panda cuteness bar has been raised by the youngster above, a very itchy resident of the Bifengxia Panda Base in China’s Sichuan Province.

Just look at this panda and tell us it doesn’t look like it’s trying to raise the roof!

The Bifengxia Panda Base, incidentally, is currently home to another giant panda you might know: Tai Shan, the beloved former resident of the National Zoo in Washington, D.C., who moved to China earlier this year to become a part of the country’s panda breeding program.

Tai Shan had a huge fan base in Washington, D.C., but maybe no one told him he’d need to learn some new dance moves to achieve star status in China.
