Your morning adorable: Sweater-clad Cairn terriers play in the snow

May 28, 2010 | 12:00 pm

Seeing these six cute Cairn terriers frolicking in the snow, bundled in their cozy sweaters, almost makes us wish that we lived in a city where snow was prevalent. (Almost.)

Even more than it makes us wish for snow, though, this video makes us want to take home one, or two, or six Cairn terriers. We can breathe a sigh of relief, though, because these adorable dogs -- rescues cared for by volunteers with Cairn Rescue USA -- have all been adopted since this video was filmed.

We love the way these dogs -- the alphabetically-named Adam, Bella, Chip, Dodger and Fiona, if you're keeping track -- cavort and hop through the deep (for them) snow like rabbits.

Perhaps we're predisposed to love cairn terriers -- after all, we, like just about everyone else we know, are big fans of "The Wizard of Oz," which, of course, starred a talented Cairn terrier in the role of Toto.
