Your morning adorable: Kittens try to run up a playground slide

We’ve seen a duck slide down a slide, but never before have we seen kittens try to run up one.

We suppose the concept is similar to children trying to climb a down escalator; YouTube user andymerv likens it to running on a treadmill. Whatever these kittens’ motivation -- be it fun or exercise, or perhaps a little of both -- we find them pretty darn cute.

Don’t get us wrong -- we’re fans of the soundtrack to this video, Dick Dale’s version of ‘Miserlou.’ Even so, we can’t help wishing that we could see these kittens run to the tune of the ‘Benny Hill Show’ theme, which, after all, makes everything funnier.
