We asked, and you’re delivering! We recently invited Unleashed readers to share videos from their favorite off-leash dog parks in Southern California. We couldn’t be happier with the great submissions you’ve shared so far!

Reader imger8 showed us an in-depth look at the Silver Lake Dog Park near the Silver Lake Reservoir. (We enjoyed watching little dog Reese enjoying a day at the park with both canine and human friends. But we have to admit, we thought the little Sheltie who took a pratfall at the end of imger8’s video was the most enjoyable part of all. Don’t worry, he was all right!)

Justin Rudd of the Long Beach organization Haute Dogs (which puts on regular events to raise funds for needy animals in Southern California, including the ever-popular Howl’oween dog costume parade and the Bulldog Beauty Contest, among others) showed us Long Beach’s dog-friendly beach area, the Dog Zone, and the K-9 Corner Dog Park, also in Long Beach, which opened last fall.

Finally (so far), ggoldbloom showed us Australian shepherd Laika’s exploits at the Huntington Dog Beach in Orange County. (See photos of dogs enjoying the beach at the Huntington Dog Beach’s website. Our favorite: Athletic Bella, ball firmly clamped in mouth, bounding through the shallows.)

Want to share your videos with us? It’s easy; just click the “Submit Your Video Response” link below and you’ll be guided through the process of uploading a video to our video queue through YouTube. Existing videos from your YouTube account can also be added to our queue. (You’ll need to be a YouTube member to participate, but signing up is easy.) Please allow for a short delay between submitting your video and seeing it here on Unleashed, because we have to moderate each video before adding it to the queue.

You’ll note that you can also scroll through the videos in our Dog Parks queue on the right-hand side of the blog (that way, you’ll be able to see them even when this post isn’t on the blog’s front page anymore).

Have any suggestions for new animal-related video assignments? Let us know by leaving a comment or sending us a tweet @LATunleashed.
