Your morning adorable: Sleepy kitten picks a strange spot for a nap

Claire the kitten (shown here at 7 weeks old) seems to feel a bit like we do this morning -- but fortunately for us, we can drink caffeinated beverages to counteract our sleepiness. (Fortunately for Claire, she doesn't actually have any work-related tasks to perform, so she can sleep on that uncomfortable-looking chair rung all day if she wants.)

We found Claire so alarmingly cute that we had difficulty choosing between two great videos of her.  But our indecisiveness is your gain, because we've included the second -- wherein she tries to chase her own tail and, as owner ramona911 puts it, "[her] own foot even turns against her and gets in on the action!" -- after the jump.   (And if you, like us, can't get enough of this adorable kitten, may we recommend another of ramona911's videos, in which she voluntarily plays on a child's plastic slide?)

Ahhh, youth... ;-D

I may not fall asleep in odd places anymore but, at nearly 12 years of age, I am not above still playing with my tail from time to time, especially when a Lion Cut makes it look so enticing. ;-D
