Your morning adorable: Dog adopts orphaned macaque monkey in Thailand
Monks at the Tung Luang Buddhist temple in Thailand's Chiang Mai province recently began caring for a 3-month-old macaque monkey whose mother was killed by a hunter.
Helping them with the task of raising the young monkey is Tan, a resident "temple dog" who, Metro U.K. reports, has not only taken the monkey under his wing but even voluntarily shares his food with it!

What a lovely story, that photo is just adorable. I have been learning all about macaque monkey's in this month's DiscoveryBox book http://www.discoveryboxbooks.com/november.php They are beautiful and fascinating creatures, I'm so glad this little one has had a happy ending!

what an adorable monkey and caring dog! a story like this one always moves me. I have heard similar stories like this one, animals from a different species adopt other orphan animals from a total different specie, animals have a great parental vocation I think

Every time a hear a story like this it brings tears to my eyes and makes me wonder why can't we, humans learn more from this.
