Last week Django didn’t do so well in his NFL picks so this week it looks like he’s choosing some powerhouses.

Down in the battle of the Bayou behind the surprisingly tough Saints and Eli Manning’s G-men, Django thinks the New York Giants can remain unbeaten despite having to cut through the voodoo of the Super Dome in New Orleans.

Django is also poo-pooing the mighty defense of the Baltimore Ravens, and instead backing the old man of the Purple People Eaters, Brett Favre, and the Minnesota Vikings.

And then in the late game the little pooch is picking the Monsters of the Midway who head down to the Dirty South. Although Da Bears is this blogger’s favorite team, something needs to be said for the Falcons who went into Frisco and upset Mike Singletary’s 49ers last week. Regardless, Django’s pick is with the Chicago Bears and look how confident he seems with those picks.

Update: Django was right for putting his paws on Favre and the Vikings, but the Giants got creamed in the Big Easy and Da Bears lost a heartbreaker in the ATL. Better luck next time, pooch.
