Your morning adorable: Dogs sleep in the strangest places

Dog napping

Submitter dixibell shares this too-cute-for-words photo of her Labrador retriever, whose favorite napping spot, dixibell says, is right on top of the flowers in this ornate planter.

We were so impressed by this pup's childlike ability to fall asleep in a seemingly uncomfortable spot that we decided to take a spin through one of our favorite Your Scene photo galleries, Just Five More Minutes, to see what other odd dog-napping spots we could find there.

We weren't disappointed!  See where sleeping dogs lie after the jump.  And if you have a great photo you'd like to share, we'd love to see it -- head on over to Your Scene and click the "Submit a photo or video" link at the top of the page.

I LOVE these !!! so funny and doglike... my dog cici loves to sleep with her belly showing, and she also likes to stick her nose under covers, or under me, it's a wonder she can breathe half the time... so #4 is my favorite photo, although they are all hilarious... thanks !

oh my god that is so adorable! I love the one with the labs head in the shoe. And the one with the pyranese in the, what is that a shower? i have two Icelandic sheepdags, Shiloh and Tye. Shiloh is always sleeping under my parents bed, no clue why? And Tye likes to sleep on our front porch right outside the door, and he watches every one pass when he wakes up. People think its creepy and some are afraid he'll attack, but he's really just curious. It may be because he has a black coat and dark black like brown eyes. I love both my dogs though.
