Your morning adorable: Gorilla with a popsicle

When exceptionally high temperatures hit the U.K. last week, keepers at the London Zoo took action to help their animal charges cool off.  

Some of the animals, like the alpacas and bearded pigs, were showered with cool water.  Luckier animals (in our opinion), like the zoo's apes, got specially made fruit popsicles.  Effie, a female western lowland gorilla, especially seemed to enjoy her frozen treat.  (The zoo notes that its gorillas also have access to air conditioning and come and go into the hot outdoors as they please.)
