Your morning adorable: Giraffe calf takes a drink

Giraffe calf

The Magdeburg Zoo in eastern Germany welcomed a male giraffe calf June 7. Already the little fellow is consuming more than a gallon of milk a day!

Giraffes' gestation period is more than a year (400 to 460 days is normal), so the Magdeburg Zoo has been waiting for this calf for quite some time.  At birth, giraffes often stand 6 feet tall!

Very adorable....

I read that the baby giraffe doesn't have a name here is one for it since it was born in magdeburg that should be its name. MAGDEBURG
