Your morning adorable: Lamb plays soccer

Annie, a Shetland lamb, seems to be a natural soccer player!

Shetlands are small sheep, bred not to take up much space in their native Shetland Isles off the northern coast of Scotland.

Other animals unique to the Shetland Isles include the more familiar Shetland pony and Shetland sheepdog, as well as breeds of cattle and goose. Another native Shetland breed, the Shetland pig or grice, became extinct in the early part of the 20th century.

It just goes to show how sheep are not the dumb, unthinking beasts most people classify them as. You can see this wee lamb thinking about the object and working out how best to roll it. He even drops his front legs so that he can head butt the ball on its own level.
It looks like he was really enjoying himself. (Apologies if 'he' is in fact a 'she').
