Nala, a 2-week-old lion cub at Hungary’s Nyiregyhazi Zoo, recently had surgery to repair a broken right thigh bone. (Keepers believe that her mother, Kyara, accidentally injured the cub.)

Now, while she’s recuperating, Nala is living at the home of her keeper, Aniko Herlicska. She’s experienced a whole host of new things at Herlicska’s home -- from the joys of eating furniture to playing with Herlicska’s dog Mala, a corded puli!
