Your morning adorable: Mountain goat kids at Glacier National Park
Photographer Allen J. Schaben caught these two mountain goat kids mid-nuzzle along the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Montana's Glacier National Park.
The park is home to a multitude of animal species, from grizzly bears to pygmy shrews -- indeed, as its website notes, "Only the woodland caribou and bison are missing."
Mountain goats, in fact, aren't goats at all -- they actually belong to a separate genus than the one true goats occupy. ("Goat antelopes" is a more accurate way to refer to them.)
