Your morning adorable: Buddy the Surf Dog

Buddy, surfing dog extraordinaire, is a regular at Ventura-area beaches, where he sometimes gets so excited about surfing that he bites the board in anticipation.

‘Sometimes we think he’s barking other surfers off a wave so he can get it,’ his owner Bruce Hooker said. ‘When he sees a set coming, he starts barking, he knows a wave is coming.’

His life jacket features a smartly-placed handle on the back in case Hooker needs to grab the little guy.
