Your morning adorable: Baby meerkats at Australia's Taronga Zoo
Baby meerkats Zanzibar and Nairobi are new residents of Sydney's Taronga Zoo. They are tiny enough to fit easily into the palm of their keeper's hand.
The babies were born Jan. 23 and are the first meerkats born at the zoo in nine years. "I'm extremely thrilled, I'm over the moon, I've been waiting for this for quite a long time now," meerkat keeper Bobby-Jo Vial told the Sydney Morning Herald.
"They're already eating solid foods and displaying behaviours similar to adults," Vial continued. "They're very precocious."
