Homeless animals need blankets

December 29, 2008 | 10:24 am

Operation Blankets of Love

With Southland temperatures dipping below freezing, local animal shelters are in need of immediate blanket and towel donations to keep homeless pets safe and warm.

A quick and simple way for you to contribute is to make a donation to Operation Blankets of Love, which provides blankets and other necessities to Los Angeles animal shelters.

Or, better yet, adopt a pet and let them under  your blanket. They’ll keep you warm too!

Great idea! What an easy way to make a difference. I am going to have a blanket/towel drive at work to earn some extra karma points starting the new year.
