A saucy dilemma

Deskunked

Submitter t explains, "After getting sprayed by a skunk, I gave Rocko a bath in tomato sauce.  Later, I found out I was supposed to use tomato juice!  He didn't seem to mind...."

We bet Rocko will try to steer clear of skunks in the future, but just in case he runs into one again, HealthyPet.com has another suggestion:

Another home remedy that can cut down on odor is a mixture made of one teaspoon of dish washing liquid and one cup of baking soda dissolved in one quart of hydrogen peroxide (three percent strength). After thoroughly soaking your pet in the mixture, rinse him with clean tap water.

Here's hoping Rocko stays skunk-free from here on out.
