Yet more news on the feral cat front.

First came news that officials were trapping cats living in a colony at the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center. Now, The Times’ Mark Medina reports on efforts to control another cat colony--this one at Cal State Long Beach. (The cat above was photographed at the university.)
