Teaching a dog new tricks

4-H member Kirsten Lansgaard teaches a workshop on dog showmanship as part of the University of California's 4-H Pet Symposium, which took place earlier this month in East Los Angeles.
Children from throughout Los Angeles County participated in workshops and activities geared toward promoting responsible pet care as part of the University of California Cooperative Extension. The programs are available for youth ages 5 to 19.
