Leaping lizards! It's a reptile show

Here's a group that takes the term "cold-blooded" as a compliment. Reptile breeders, herpetologists and plain old reptile aficionados are gathering in Anaheim this weekend for the North American Reptile Breeders Conference & Trade Show. Hundreds of species will be featured: turtles and tortoises, lizards and snakes. And if you spot a gecko, it's not from a TV commercial.
Check out The Guide for full details on the conference and show, including details on a boa constrictor raffle. You'll also see a photo gallery that includes Technicolor creatures like the specimen above, an arboreal alligator lizard.
