Scuba divers swept 20 miles by currents survived 12 hours in shark-infested waters and then scrambled onto a remote Indonesian island -- where they fought off a Komodo dragon, a port official said.

According to Times wire reports, the divers, three from Britain, one from France and one from Sweden, pelted the giant carnivorous lizard on Rinca island with rocks and pieces of wood.

Searchers found the divers the day after their encounter with the lizard, similar to the one above.

it is the sharks territory and the salt water croc's also.my advice, you know they live there so stay out of there.

It was good they were save after fight off with Komodo dragon. I have been in Rinca and Komodo Island when I was working for travel agent.Trekking on these islands was very interesting,we saw green lush savana, jungle and amazing view ocean with clear water, beautiful coral and wide variation of fish.it is perfect place for diving and snorkling. But becareful with shark and don't walk alone without park ranggers. Komodo can smell blood from few miles away.So not recommended for woman during periode to come.Putu Runita www.ratnaasriproperty.com
