Kelsey Ramos is an associate web producer at The Times. Friends used to make fun of her late white Persian cat, Beth, but she staunchly defended the feline’s beautiful flat face. It is with the same passion that she writes about four-legged Broadway stars, resourceful octopuses and bald chickens for Unleashed. Because her two dogs, Susie and Reesie, refuse to live in a cramped L.A. apartment, they live in a house with a big, grassy yard in Northern California with her parents.
